Lender panel
Macquarie through Lyft Money
Macquarie is an Australian bank with a long-established asset finance business alongside its business banking division. It is widely recognised for vehicle and equipment finance, novated leasing and specialist lending to professional sectors including medical, dental and legal practices, where it has built dedicated products and credit expertise. It works extensively through accredited brokers rather than branch networks.
Lyft Money is an independent broker. Macquarie is one of 18+ lenders on our panel; we are not Macquarie and do not speak for them. Product details change — your broker confirms current terms before anything is submitted.

Where Macquarie is strong
- Deep expertise in vehicle, equipment and fleet finance
- Specialist lending programmes for medical, dental and professional practices
- Strong digital processes and broker support
Things to weigh up
- Credit policy favours established operators and recognised professions
- Full documentation is generally required outside specialist programmes
- Not the first choice for impaired credit or very new businesses
Macquarie is a natural first call for professional practices. A dentist buying a chair, a GP fitting out rooms or a specialist purchasing imaging equipment often fits a dedicated programme that assesses the practice rather than forcing it through generic business policy, which can mean better terms and less paperwork.
On the fleet and vehicle side it is equally well established, with the systems to handle multiple assets under one facility. Where a client is an established operator with a clean record, Macquarie is generally one of the options we compare.
